ILLFIGURE was founded in Norrköping, Sweden, in the fall of 2004. Their intention was to play aggressive and heavy metal with melodic ingredients. In the fall of 2008 ILLFIGURE decided to take matters in their own hands and finance and produce a mini album that became "Chaos Tranquility". It was recorded at Endarker Studio in Norrköping, Sweden, with Magnus Devo Andersson (Marduk, Pain, Overflash & Sargatanas Reign) as co-producer and engineer. He also mixed and mastered the album.
The major part of 2010 was dedicated to writing new material for a full-length album that was named “Bile of Life”. Once again ILLFIGURE worked with Magnus Devo Andersson at Endarker Studio.
2013 Max Malmgren decided to put the band to rest.
