Ilusión is a trio formed by Fernando Soria Salmerón, Jesús Beltrán, and Carlos Mayo Jimenez, three friends who connected through their love for music and shared roots as first-generation Mexican-Americans living in Delaware. With family ties to Quiroga, Michoacán and Jiménez, Chihuahua, Huehuetlán el Chico, Puebla, their songs carry the weight of two cultures, three journeys, and one voice that speaks from the heart.
They grew up listening to everything — from the romantic ballads their parents played at family gatherings to the raw, emotional sounds of corridos tumbados and alternative rock.
