ilynaive is an independent artist born and raised in Connecticut who draws influence from a plethora of artists and genres. He credits most of his musical influence to his older sister, Ashley, who introduced him to the likes of Lil’ Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, and Jay-Z at the young age of 9. Naive originally began making lyrical “old-school” rap but over the years has developed into a much more modern, melodic sound.
