Impulse Machine is an avant-garde metal band and multimedia collective from Silk Hope, North Carolina. Their evolving style evades easy classification, characterized by playful genre-bending, atmospheric production, and frontman Conner Tomlinson’s commanding vocal presence. Since 2022, they’ve earned a strong grassroots following for their theatric and energetic live shows, which feature elaborate visuals, unconventional and homemade instruments, and the occasional use of enhanced interrogation techniques.
