Like an expanding mycelium Indianizer is a band devoted just as much to the dancefloor as it is to melodies and experimentation. Blending cosmic sounds, krautrock, house beats, percussive polyrhythms and tribalism into eccentric pop songs, Indianizer have created a unique sound that could be defined as “psych-tropical beat”. Their freaky lyrical imagery is enriched by several languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish and Creole) as well as by made-up vocalisations and transcendental chants, which all coexist in their record production.
Over the years, the Turin-based quartet has played virtually everywhere in Europe, participating in major festivals such as Transmusicales and Eurosonic and sharing the stage with internationally renowned artists such as King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Black Lips, Fat White Family, Elektro Guzzi, Hailu Mergia, Os Mutantes, Crimi, Tamikrest, Dj Gruff, Gianluca Petrella and Lino Capra Vaccina.
