indica.addictt, real name Bryan, grew up in the heart of Sunset Park, surrounded by the sounds of old-school games and classic consoles. From endless hours on the Wii, Wii U, Xbox, and PS4 to being a huge fan of Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Bryan’s creative world started in pixels and controllers before it evolved into beats and bars.
At 14, his love for music took over. Inspired by his grandfather’s old guitar, Bryan tried playing but couldn’t quite catch the rhythm, so he found his own sound through rap. Under his first alias, 916Koneko, he began experimenting, blending nostalgic vibes with raw emotion. Over time, that journey grew into indica.addictt, a name that reflects both his chill aesthetic and his creative evolution.
Now residing in Roselle, New Jersey, Bryan continues pushing his craft while building his own collective, PURPLE STAR$ (formerly KTL Records). Since 2024, he’s been creating his own beats, developing a signature sound that fuses ambient tones, dreamlike melodies, and raw emotion. From making Fortnite montages between 2022 and 2024 to studying HVAC at Lincoln Tech in Union, his grind never stopped, it just shifted forms.
