With lyrical commentary on the millennial and “generation Z” lifestyle layered over powerful rhythms and catchy guitar riffs, Indigo Haze’s anthemic alt. pop sound and vibrant chemistry creates a feel-good, danceable atmosphere perfect for intimate gigs and festival stages alike.
After self-producing their debut single 'Glass House', Indigo Haze took a more atmospheric approach to their follow-up release, 'Lana', which focuses on the naivety of love and relationships.
Indigo Haze was founded in September 2016 after its four members: Tom Bentley (Vocals/Guitar), Matt Yapp (Guitar), Will Davis (Bass), and Samuel Louis (Vocals/Drums), met at university and immediately began playing gigs around the country. The lads have gigged throughout England, as well as European shows in Copenhagen and Prague. Influential bands include: Foals, Kings of Leon, Pixies, Alt-J and Biffy Clyro.
Indigo Haze want every aspect of the project to be reflective of them and their individual personalities, and so everything from the song-writing, recording and production of releases is done by the band members themselves. This modern approach to music making is influenced by all four members’ desire for fans to connect with the band on a personal level, with crowd engagement featuring heavily throughout the Indigo Haze live show.
