Indigo Zebras

Nashville-based Indigo Zebras started their journey as a post-hardcore outfit in 2016 with local shows being the stepping stone to a greater future. Brothers Justin Turner and Jacob Turner, cowrote and performed their self titled EP released in October 2018 at various local venues.

After some time to reflect on their first release and gaining some momentum the band then put together their first LP titled, “Surely We Will Fall” released in November of 2021. With songs such as ‘Fixated’ and ‘Only to Comply’ the band took a more emotional approach to their writing style emphasized by melodic and dynamic influences from &#64;<a href="spotify:artist:75U40yZLLPglFgXbDVnmVs" data-name="The Mars Volta">The Mars Volta</a> and &#64;<a href="spotify:artist:11FY888Qctoy6YueCpFkXT" data-name="Circa Survive">Circa Survive</a>. This new refined sound would catch the attention and ears of eager listeners. With more opportunities presenting themselves for the band’s direction Justin and Jacob took some time to evaluate the future of the group and what it would take to reach further successes.

After a partial hiatus and lineup change including the addition of Mikey Stevenhagen as lead vocalist Indigo was once again filled with motivation. After building their second-to-none chemistry the members would go on to play several shows and events performing their previously released music. During this process the band would then collaborate to write and release, “Only in Absolutes” on December 29th 2023. As well as release their new rage filled single, “Bury Your Motives” on September 13th 2024.
