INDIGO’s indie rock grabs you and doesn’t let you go. With melancholic vocals and dreamy guitar riffs, the band’s music feels like the perfect soundtrack for a road trip. It’s no coincidence that their latest EP, Meet Me At Dusk, is named after the sunset. Musically and lyrically, the band navigates between hope and fear – light and dark.
Formed out of a shared love for Radiohead, this Nijmegen (NL) band first made waves in 2018. Their energetic live performances soon earned them the audience award at the 2019 De Roos van Nijmegen band contest. Their debut EP, A View From Above, was followed by a sold-out release show and several festival performances. “A band with an international sound that will strongly appeal to the imagination in the alternative music scene,” wrote 3voor12.
During the pandemic the band decided to write new material in a tiny cottage in nature. These songs formed the basis for the second EP Meet Me At Dusk. Expect the immersiveness of acts like Editors and The National, combined with guitar sounds like The War On Drugs and Coldplay. Armed with fresh music, INDIGO are ready to take you on their trip.
