Infinitefreefall is the experimental pop and electronic rock project from Charleston, South Carolina, formed and led by frontman/producer Maxton Stenstrom. This long-running outlet resists easy classification, fashioning a vast swath of influences into a kaleidoscopic wall of sound with hooky and arresting songwriting, coalescing into an unpredictable and ever-evolving show.

After releasing several electronic EPs throughout the late 2010s (catalogued on "Terminal Velocity: Early Works, 2010-2018"), the project expanded into releasing full-length albums during the first half of the 2020s, beginning with 2022’s long-gestating debut electronic dream pop LP "Graceful Exit" and its full-length live counterpart "Graceful Exit Live". Now fully transformed from solo laptop project to live ensemble, 2023’s "Catastrophe Magnet" expanded the sound to include more alt-rock, gothic, and krautrock elements, and 2024’s "Belief Systems" leaned into psychedelic, post-punk, and shoegaze tendencies. In 2025, live-recorded versions of the last two LPs appeared ("Belief Systems Live" and "Catastrophe Magnet Live"), showcasing more angles of the group’s development.

The near future holds further expansion and fearless experimentation from the quartet: Maxton Stenstrom on guitar and vocals, Loren Jolley (Loratadine) on synths and vocals, Bradley “Bayou” Simmons on bass, and Shawn Krauss on drums.
