Infinium is a progressive metal band from Rochester, NY.
Featuring Kyle Worgo on vocals, Lucas Johnston on electric guitar, Joseph Buck on bass guitar, and Josh Klingler on drums, Infinium made their debut with the single titled Overpopulation on November 11th, 2021. Their most recent release, a follow up single titled Mycelium was released on March 26th, 2022.
Infinium presents a modern technical metal sound with syncopated riffs and groove metal drums, rampant with time signatute changes and polyrhythms. Infinium songs tend to blend many influences, featuring powerful vocal melodies reminiscent of post-hardcore bands, as well as the heavy downtuned syncopated guitar riffs of a djent band. Their songs even tend to bend genres, incorporating elements of jazz and progressive rock music.
