Ingrid Lovise

Hi! I’m Ingrid Lovise.
A Norwegian artist often described as a singer songwriter, and though that is true I am more. Much more.
My most defining feature is that I love being alive and I love my life.
All aspects of it, but I especially savour the opportunity to be creative and express myself through music.
Singing and writing songs from age four, I play the violin, viola, and guitar. I’ve sung in both gospel and classical choirs and surprise people with my rap flow. Recently I got into electronic music production which most definitely influenced me creatively.


Writing has always been a natural way for me to process and respond to lifes events, and what I say and how I say it is important to me.

I write about people and the relationships between us, touching upon boundaries, love, friendship, wins and losses. Through writing I make peace with difficult things by coming to a point of clarity, where I understand what has happened and my thoughts on it. It is easier to accept something you understand. I crave knowledge and have a huge interest in culture and philosophy. My belief is that a lot of the fear in this world comes from lack of knowledge, so I’m a big fan of education. I have studied music production, political science and philosophy.


I am very proud of my debut album “Half of Her Heart and the Other Part” (2021) which is representative of who I was then, much like my new, more modern, music shows how I am evolving both as an artist and a human being.
