Ingrid Payaket

Ingrid’s music is a reflection of her musical background. As a child, her parents would support her talent: her mother enrolling her in music lessons and her dad giving her tools, as a microphones and cassette tapes, to fill her love for music. These all helped her evolve; she had training and experiences to mold her into the musician and songwriter that she is now.

The emotional high notes and clear tones are all a product of her classical training, starting at musical plays and her interests in Broadway songs. Being in the highlands also influenced her; she learns from the power of storytelling on country songs. You can hear and feel the storytelling in her music. She sings and writes in narratives. Every tone and lyric she emits forms a story you’ve felt or yet to feel.
Her growth as an artist didn’t stop there. During the first season of PILIPINAS GOT TALENT of ABS CBN, Ingrid auditioned, and opportunities found her. As a Grand Finalist, doors opened for her. And for the love of music and living a purposeful life, even challenging, she managed to be a full-time nurse and carve her mark in the music industry.

Her music has a soul. It’s because Ingrid, herself, is a woman full of hope and grace. She does things with purpose: to send a message of love and clarity. For her, music should always inspire, uplift, and transform. She said, “To me, music is like a soothing balm for the soul.”
