Ink Thief is the one-man band of Jason Kneeland, an Asheville based artist, creating atmospheric electro-psych-pop meant to heal and excite.
For his first full length album, "Light In Your Head, Night In Your Head," Jason wanted bigger sounds. With a heavy focus on rhythm, he composed a set of songs that contain shifting layers and colorful grooves that propped up his wandering lyrics of desire, fear, and surreal introspection.
His second album, “We All Share The Sun,” highlights slightly more pop oriented hooks and structures, while continuing to explore the interplay of mallet percussion, synthesizers, and vocal songwriting.
