Dimitrie Adams, known by his stage name Inkie, is a versatile DJ, rap artist, and producer of Surinamese descent, based in Amsterdam. Deeply influenced by the city’s vibrant, multicultural energy, Inkie fuses global sounds with local flavor to create a style that’s both fresh and authentic.

His journey into music began early, mentored by his uncle DJ Superfly—a respected club DJ and rap artist. At just 13 years old, Dimitrie stepped behind the decks for the first time, spinning tracks on a classic Pioneer 100. That moment lit a fire that would grow into a lifelong passion for sound, rhythm, and performance.

Through relentless practice and fearless creativity, Inkie honed his craft—sharpening his skills in both DJing and music production. As his unique sound began to gain recognition, so did his confidence.
“It gave me belief in my skills,” he says, “and I knew I wanted to take my DJ and rap career to the next level.”
