Inner Urge is a Canadian Metal band created by Matt Whitehead from BC, Canada. Matt wrote and recorded all of the music and sent it over to Berzan Önen who recorded his masterful vocals, completing the tracks and first album titled "Consume and Waste" which is out on October 27, 2022.
Matt's already finished writing all of the music for the followup album and is working on lyrics and vocals to send and be perfected by Berzan Önen.
"Consume and Waste" is straight up and melodic metal whereas the followup album is heavily progressive which employ longer songs and immense inspiration from Matt's idol John Petrucci and his band Dream Theater.
