Innes Wilson is a creative songwriter who cut his teeth in the early 2000’s playing music with dear friend Adam Sturgeon (Status Non-Status, Ombiigizi). Innes is currently exploring elements of country, americana and folk rock with his band FREIGHTLINER.
Innes has charted nationally across Canadian college radio reaching #1 on the !earshot folk charts in 2018 and again at #5 in 2023 with the EP Freightliner II. He has worked with Nova Scotia producer Adam Warren (waants) on his 2016 and 2019 EP’s, and in 2018 Innes’ Seaview EP featured members of Status Non Status.
Innes' career has been long and varied with many projects but he has always been grounded in his stunningly beautiful folk songs, delivered with heart-on-sleeve immediacy.
