Inning was an indie rock band based in Charlottesville, VA, active between 2017 and 2019. Emerging from the vibrant DIY scene surrounding the University of Virginia, the band carved out a space with their self-recorded albums, thoughtful songwriting and ever-evolving arrangements.
Their early work was raw and reflective, but over time Inning grew more adventurous, eventually traveling to Europe to write and record, where their sound grew more sonically ambitious.
