Input/Output is an independent record label and a creative house founded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The story of Input/Output begins with Abdulmajeed and Husam—two friends brought together by a shared love for music, yet shaped by very different paths. Abdulmajeed, a veteran of hip-hop and electronic music, has crafted beats alongside local and international artists. His mastery over grooves and synths is the driving force behind the duo’s pulsating sound. Meanwhile, Husam, with a background in filmmaking, brings a cinematic touch to their work, turning each track into a rich, immersive journey. A multi-instrumentalist, Husam builds ambient, experimental soundscapes with guitars, synths, and keyboards, creating a perfect counterbalance to Abdulmajeed’s rhythmic mastery.
Their influences are rooted in deep house, UK electronic, post-rock, ambient and experimental music, but their sound is uniquely their own, crafting an identity they label as Riyadh Ground.
Beyond creating music for themselves, Input/Output pushes boundaries by collaborating with other artists, helping them elevate their craft to new heights. Currently, the duo is in the midst of their first major project with the artist Fulana, setting the stage for an exciting chapter ahead.
