Insomniacks was formed in 2015 consists of Iqie the lead vocalist and guitarist, Wan Arif Iskandar (Bass), Danial Lee Hashim (Rhythm Guitar).

Insomniacks broke through to the mainstream Malaysian music scene with their first single, 'Selalu' in 2018, and rose to mainstream conciousness with the smash hit, 'Pulang' - making waves ever since. Insomniacks is the forefront of the new era of bands, combining classic rock star elements with the authenticity of today's generation. Some of their popular tracks include "Reminisensi," "Sempurna," and "Igauan Malam."

Insomniacks has released three EP’s, where their latest EP, Awake & Dreaming, is their first English EP. As a band, Insomniacks is a musically-driven artist with over 100 million YouTube views and 60 million Spotify streams; Insomniacks was among the Top 5 most listened to artists in Malaysia in 2019 and 2022, 2023 & 2024 with their songs 'Pulang' and 'Sempurna' being the #1 most streamed of their tracks.

After 10 years in the music industry, they started 2025 with winning the "Music Video Paling Gempak" at the Gempak Most Wanted Awards for the song "Belum Mulai" featuring Nabila Taqqiyah from Indonesia. They also announced their first ever solo concert that will be happening in July & November at Kuala Lumpur & Singapore respectively.
