Intellessence is an American solo recording artist and producer .
He began playing and composing music at the age of 16 and quickly formed a band with his high school friends. Instead of playing cover songs, his band focused on writing their own music inspired by the growing alternative movement at that time. His initial role in the band was guitar and primary lyricist, despite not being the vocalist until years later when the band changed its line up. Time eventually saw the band members moving in separate directions and ultimately led to a gradual breakup. Able to play multiple instruments, Intellessence decided to continue with music on his own as a solo recording artist. He soon enrolled in an audio engineering/music production program in order to better produce his music at his home studio. A standout student, he became an instructor at the school for many years upon his graduation.
Today, Intellessence is interested in creating layered music with an abundance of melody and atmosphere. Beneath the surface of all his work is a deep interest and curiosity in higher awareness. He believes the power of music lies in its ability to inspire, awaken and elevate our consciousness. Recently, he also has taken an interest in the alternative tuning of A=432 Hz. In recognition of music’s immense influence on the human psyche and spirit, he records all of his music using 432 Hz tuning.
