Intent

Intent is a Thrash Metal band from the wasteland of Mesa, Arizona. Formed in 2016 by Jeremy Lambert, Garrett Loper, and Ricardo Hall; The band would eventually recruit Jimmy Nelson and Alex Zucker and go on to produce their debut album, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:6wrOB6V9JbOQ3e8VmN51s9" data-name="Vox Populi">Vox Populi</a>&#34; in early 2018.

After a few tours across the USA (and a couple of lineup changes). The band would would eventually buckle down and complete their second offering &#34;<a href="spotify:album:3IDnUSIEkPuCdzlPsIDPNC" data-name="Exile">Exile</a>&#34;. Releasing in August 2022 and featuring a more technical and ferocious approach to their first album, the fully self-produced record would catch the attention of numerous metal publications across the globe.

Wanting to improve their sound and production even farther, the band decided it would be beneficial to take some tracks from their debut album and re-record them with the same intensity they had originally imagined them to sound like. Halfway through production however, longtime drummer and friend Garrett Loper would pass away. He would not be able to hear the final product that the band had set out to accomplish. Deciding to release the short EP in honor of his legacy, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:2BO2o4WWKRkEFqUxp2bon2" data-name="Sins of the Past">Sins of the Past</a>&#34; was released on the week of what would have been Garrett&#39;s 29th birthday on September 1st 2023.
