Formed in 1998 when turntablist <a href="spotify:artist:1kR99O4MgSTasyeJh8UFCg">DJ Koze</a> and percussionist and singer Cosmic DJ met up with classically trained keyboardist <a href="spotify:artist:2Gde0DBcgb2YE6AV1lqLxH">Erobique</a> (who had also previously played in jazz and soul bands), International Pony released their first full-length, We Love Music, in 2002. Their combination of funk and electro led them to various remixing gigs, some of which were collected on 2004's Bass Is Boss. Although International Pony didn't tour in 2006, they kept their fan base interested by issuing Mit Dir Sind Wir Vier, which included the single Gothic Girl. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi
