Into The Great Divide

Not everything’s been done yet. The unknown beckons us to take leave of the norm and embark on journeys of all kinds. No matter how big or small these journeys may seem to the beholder, we personally discover what we’re made of by uncovering the unfamiliar. Sometimes it’s thrilling, while other times it’s challenging--nevertheless, it’s always irrevocably life-changing.
Into The Great Divide is one of those kinds of stories… a journey through an entirely new musical exploration. Unabashedly progressive, shamelessly instrumental, ITGD tells the story of triumph over adversity. The self-titled debut album concept is based on Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero’s Journey”: ITGD takes you down a fully orchestrated narrative path.
Composed as individual chapters - each composed to support that specific part of the narrative - Into The Great Divide ventures into new territory, and in the process innovates the medium. We’re introduced to a new paradigm, the Rock Novel, narrated throughout to pull you along from the starting point straight through to the conclusion.
Into The Great Divide is a singular vision, but it is the result of a team of dedicated enthusiasts. ITGD was produced by Richard Chycki [Dream Theater, Rush], and features Mike Mangini [Steve Vai, Dream Theater].
