For so long, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and aspiring producer Mikko Järvenpää ran away from himself. Deep crisis made the past decade seem like the life of another person. Introsoul is a wander towards purity of childhood, well before bowing external needs and requests, autopiloting and boost attempts on frailing self-confidence begun. What if all the events faced serve a purpose?
Debut single "Who I Was" (2025) blends folk, electronic, rock and pop elements together. It's possible to hear influences from REM, Steven Wilson and Samuli Putro in the music. All things audible are sang, played and mixed by Mikko himself. Purpose behind events causing a life change is the cross-cutting theme of forthcoming album.
