Inversion is a modern metalcore band hailing from Klang Valley, Malaysia, formed in 2022. Their signature sound is a balance between aggression and vulnerability. Combining ambient elements, emotive lyrics with dynamic heavy instrumentation and powerful raw vocals. They released their Debut Single ‘Afterlight’ in 2023 and aims to release their full EP by 2025. The band is actively performing shows in West Malaysia and plans for shows in East Malaysia and neighbouring Southeast Asian countries are in works. Inversion’s current line-up consists of previous/current members of notable Malaysian Metalcore/Deathcore bands such as Cassandra, Dead Eyes Glow, Kiss the Fallen, Identity and VoidAvoid.
