ION also known as Jimmy Mosqueda Jr. is a Music Producer/Sound Designer from Visalia California. 31 Years old, ION focuses on pushing the boundaries of sound & creates a multi-dimensional, eclectic combination of sounds all while spurring complex and deep rhythms. His tracks are filled with trap & hip hop influenced percussion layered with an experimental composition of spacey distorted wubs & analog synths, sacred frequencies and deep punching 808s. With a drive dedicated to connecting through sound, ION consistently releases tracks making & keeping his mark in the Bass music & Dubstep community. Touring and headlining sold-out shows in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington DC, has brought together a purely organic ION fanbase who can recognize his unique sound design & his refreshing & energizing DJ sets. Along the journey, he has performed alongside many greats in the electronic community including, CASPA , Excision , Dirt Monkey, ATLiens, Jantsen, TRUTH, Gaslamp Killer, CharlestheFirst, YHETI, Riot Ten, Shlump, MeSo, + Many More! ION has also garnered musical support from Four Tet, Liquid Stranger, Of The Trees, Lab Group, CASPA, to name a few.
