Iona Griffey

Hi!

My name is Iona Griffey, a 19 year old British singer-songwriter and actress from Haverhill, Suffolk, UK.

I have recorded my first album 'Lovers & Strangers' which is due to be released in 2023. It is completely original material, with all words and music written by me and is packed full of BANGERS, BELTERS and BOPS for your listening pleasure!

The first singles from the album ‘Colourblind’ and ‘Sweet Tooth’ have been played on BBC Radio, with whom I had a live on air acoustic session.

My style is structured pop/rock/folk vibe with solid melody and a mix of rock electric guitar and acoustic arrangements and a strong female vocal with attitude. Real songs performed with real instruments. I hope you like it.
I list Stevie Wonder, Shawn Mendes, Joni Mitchell, Ed Sheeran and Lin Manuel-Miranda as my musical influences. I began song writing in 2015 when I was 13 and have now written over 50 songs.
