iona picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and soon after, at 15, began writing his own songs. By 16, he joined a band and started performing live, initially covering popular indie tracks and gradually introducing his original compositions. His debut EP, Demos From The Moon, marked a pivotal moment in his career, leading to performances filled exclusively with his original music.

While his early work sought to emulate the sounds of his idols, iona has since developed a unique sound that blends dreamy soundscapes, unconventional song structures, and introspective lyrics. This evolution showcases his ability to turn personal pain into meaningful music, a process he describes as therapeutic.

Performing primarily at local shows, iona envisions a future where his music reaches larger audiences at major venues.
