Isaac Powell

Hi. I am an aspiring musician who writes contemporary Christian music from home, and this is my testimony:

I was born 2 months prematurely because of severe medical complications. The doctors thought that I wouldn’t survive, and if I did I would have seizures and wouldn’t be able to see anything except for shadows and the color red. However, many people were praying for me, and through the almighty power of God, I survived. More than that, I don’t suffer from any of the conditions the doctors diagnosed, aside from a vision impairment, which is much less severe than the doctors initially predicted. I don’t take any medication anymore, and I continue to find new ways of accommodating my vision. Because of my vision impairment, my hearing is more sensitive, which allows me to pick up on music very easily and learn to play it by ear. I started piano lessons at a young age, and taught myself guitar and drums at age 16. In addition to my passion for music, I hope to work for Apple someday.
