One of Belgium's biggest teen pop singers of the early '90s, Isabelle Adam was born in Ghent in 1975, and after being discovered by producer Marc Van Beveren, she went on to score a huge number one with "He, Lekker Beest" and its self-titled parent album. She continued to amass hits from her subsequent LPs -- 1992's Zeventien and 1993's Jij Doet Me Leven -- and branched into TV, presenting gigs on Het Swingpaleis and De Notenclub. She largely disappeared from the music scene until she teamed up with <a href="spotify:artist:5EP020iZcwBqHRnJftibXX">Hooverphonic</a>'s Alex Callier for a 2008 comeback, De Macht Der Gewoonte. In 2012, she replaced Sofie Van Moll as the lead singer of the Expendables. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
