ISMOS is a post-punk band from Lüneburg that combines early British post-punk, 1980s Argentine alternative rock, and 1990s grunge. Their music features tight basslines, sharp guitars, expressive vocals, and powerful, precise drums that drive the energy of each track. ISMOS explores emotional contrasts like anger and hope, light and darkness, in a raw and direct sound made for the stage.
The band includes bassist and composer Eduardo Noboa (Ecuador), vocalist and songwriter José Cordero (El Salvador/Germany), guitarist and sound designer/engineer Eugen Winterberger (Austria), and drummer and producer Jan-Phillip Meyer (Poland/Germany).
