Issa Famous

Issa Famous is a rapper, producer, and hip hop artist based out Louisville, KY. A natural storyteller, he draws from his unique experience as a Kenyan refugee growing up in the south to create universal songs with a powerful message.
Issa first fell in love with music as a teenager when he heard Akon and Lil Wayne on the radio. He became obsessed with hip hop and soon he was spending all his time writing rhymes and making beats. As a result, he developed a production style that merged his African upbringing with cutting edge contemporary rap, pop, and R&B to make a sound that's all his own. He quickly earned a reputation on his local scene as a versatile artist, capable of writing club bangers and hard-hitting introspective rhymes alike.
In 2017, Issa announced his official arrival with a string of singles and collaborations that established him as an artist not to be ignored. He went on release his first full-length album ‘Issa Vibe’ in 2019. Highlighting his sharp flow and impressive lyrical prowess, it introduced the world to a rapper who is still growing and building a true connection with his fans. In 2020, he has kept up his quality and has been releasing a new track each month. He even got one of his tracks "Intentions" to be featured on Hip-HopVibe.com on their "On the Rise" series.
