Istana band is a pop-rock-alternative band based in Semarang, Central Java.
Their lineup is Helmy (Vocal), Fariz (Guitar), Vitto (Guitar), Chandra (Bass), Dodhy (Keyboard/Synth), and Remon (Drum).
In the middle 2007, they got their first recording contract with EMI Music Indonesia as a Major Label, with debut album "Kompilasi Band Baru". In this album their signature songs are "Jangan Lepaskan" and "Tak Bisa Kembali".
