ITS OWN Animal

Its Own Animal AKA Garry Minto produces and performs alt-electronic music ranging from spaced out ambient ballads to big house tunes, complex afro beat/drum and bass grooves, and latin house / chant crossovers. Its Own Animal has been developing his music for the last 7 years and has released 4 albums so far. These include 2017's alt electro Sugar Pill to 2019's Ammonite where he really found his sound and his groove with big house driven belters like RUN! to the other worldly ballad Flying. Good To Be Home is full of massive grooves, intricate poetry and includes everything Dark House anthem Survival, to the delicate jazzy flow of Yes I Can. There are a huge range of influences here from the likes of Under World and The Orb, through 4 Net and Chassol , Massive Attack, Dub Reggae , Funk and even The Cocteau Twins.
