Growing up in a drug filled, violence driven environment the York, Pennsylvania native was no stranger to struggle. Itzkeem was raised by his mom on the east side of the city with his two brothers. His love for music came at a early age, writing his first song when he was 10 yrs old. Around the age of 13 Keem's mother had a stroke leading her to be hospitalized for weeks, losing her ability to walk and talk, completely paralyzing the right side of her body. Lost, confused and unable to avoid trouble Keem found himself being moved state to state between different family members and later moved to Kentucky with his father.
In 2019 while homeless, Keem dropped his first single "Snapback" a grimey, heartfelt, 3 minute emotion filled song with no hook. Seeing the reaction he got from "Snapback" Keem knew he found his purpose and that music was his way out. Using music as a way to express his feelings, tell his story, Keem easily connect with people that been through similar situations. Approaching his third year Keem has become one of the most promising artist in his area. With songs like "Body Callin' ", "Fall For You", "I Ain't Complainin" and "Be My Guest" Keem continues to improve as a artist, displaying his versatility and ability to create in many different ways. His Grimey but Smooth Melodic blend of rap and r&b, has become the cornerstone of his sound. Often times rapping about his life struggles, relationships, heartbreak, love, and his desire to make it.
