Hey! I'm IVA. Music has always been my way of communicating. Ever since my teenage years, I've been writing songs. In fact, it became my way of expressing myself as a child, my way of saying things that I couldn't always find words for. The songs were my salvation through life's ups and downs.

But when I won Popstars at the age of 19 in 2014, it was as if the trophy came with a prize of challenges. The door to fame was glittering but hard to step into. I tried to fit into the perfect pop brand, but in the process, I became estranged from my own music. So I took the bold step and left music behind for three years.

During that time, I was like a shadow of myself. Music was my entire identity, but without it, I felt lost. Slowly but surely, I rediscovered music, but this time it was different. I felt the urge to create something new, a whole new name and universe where I could be completely and authentically myself. And then IVA was born. It became my space where I could express myself authentically.
Behind every song lies a desire to express my own journey through life. My music stems from my own experience of getting lost and finding myself again. I'm passionate about sharing my journey, about telling the story of how we can become stronger by listening to our hearts. For me, losing my music wasn't just a bump in the road, it was my biggest breakthrough – not just as an artist, but as myself.
