Croatian pop star Ivan Mikulic first displayed his two-and-a-half-octave vocal range in his teenage band Zvjezdane Staze. They attracted a local following, but it wasn't until 1995 and his solo single "Ti I Ja" that Mikulic's music was heard by most of Croatia. He eventually landed the lead in the Croatian production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and in 2004 his song "You Are the Only One" was Croatia's entry into the Eurovision Song Contest. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
