First formed in Durham and now expanding their reach across the region, indie pop band ivies are steadily growing from strength to strength. From being named one of BBC Introducing North East 'One's To Watch' 2024, the band have gone on to receive BBC Radio 1 airtime on their first two singles through their "remarkably honest and playful approach to songwriting" (Narc Magazine) and "catchy hooks [that] simply tumble out of them" (The Crack Magazine).
Following the release of their debut EP 'hardly my fault', the band have been developing and maturing their own sound, now returning with their latest single 'i dont wanna care'. The brand new track brings back the upbeat energy of their previous tracks 'sick for a week' and 'drunk honesty' but drawing from the raw, emotionally charged determination of overcoming crippling self-consciousness.
