Ivo Perkusic is an academic actor and professor of English and Italian language and literature. He made his PhD in Italian literature. He is director of the City Youth Theater in Split. While studying Portuguese in Portugal, he fell in love with the fado, which he himself began to sing. He had a number of performances in Croatia. He also performed in Lisbon, in the famous house of "Tasca do Chico" in Bairro Alto. Singing fado IVO has made one of the most beautiful and most significant concerts, at the Avantgarde Jazz Festival in Rovinj, where he performed along Ana Moura, one of the best female fado singers in the world. Ivo sang on all main popular music festivals in Croatia and won several awards on Split Music Festival.
