IVY was the first solo project from <a href="spotify:artist:68ke2Df0EklH123rpyyEBt" data-name="Grandfather's House">Grandfather's House</a> singer, Rita Sampaio. Her debut album Over and Out was released on March 2019.
IVY’s music was dark, introspective, and intimate - a representation of a cycle that was closed, life in movement and transformation. From 2019 to 2020 she gave more than 40 concerts and worked with other artists as <a href="spotify:artist:4WGxfbDkaRQOFN0uriUXDF" data-name="St. James Park">St. James Park</a> on the track <a href="spotify:track:16B23WJoL1poCLlcH0FUkz" data-name="Tanger">Tanger</a> and gave voice to the single, <a href="spotify:track:39rhJuw8iH50g4uEdbL2Jn" data-name="The Moment">The Moment</a> by <a href="spotify:artist:1w7cucUEPR1Yq9g03g6T8m" data-name="Xinobi">Xinobi</a>.
Rita decided to end the project in October 2020 in order to explore new sonic landscapes and aesthetics.
