Los Angeles based artist, J AKTIVE, has been honing his skills in the art of music since before he could talk. Originally a beat-boxer and musician, J AKTIVE blended his vocal production with his love of music to bring a perfect marriage of his two passions.
J AKTIVE's evolution allowed him to introduce a new element of Neo Soul, Rap, & Pop with a distinctive and expressive sound. His use of talents inspired him to create “Aktivate Music Group” in Downtown Los Angeles in 2015.
Since then, J AKTIVE’s debut album "BAD LUV" reached over 1.2 million streams on Spotify, with the lead single “PIST OFF” going viral on social media, reaching over 22 Million views across all platforms catching the attention of stars such as: Janet Jackson, Deion Sanders, Mario Lopez and many others. Written and Produced mainstream commercial theme song for "Yayyo" Rideshare App, Featured in mainstream Hip hop videos and Major TV Networks such as BET, MTV, and VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Today, J AKTIVE continues to utilize his creativity to tell his story and explore the depths of using music as a form of therapy to inspire others.
