As an artist hailing from Elizabeth, New Jersey, J Bank has always been heavily influenced by rap and hip hop. However, after a stint living in Paraguay, J Bank's musical palette expanded to include a diverse range of genres, including Reggaetón, EDM, Rock, Cumbia, and Reggae. Upon returning to the United States, J Bank decided to pursue a career in music, releasing his first single shortly after.
