Qwaylove is an artist/songwriter from Valdosta, Georgia. As a small child, Qwaylove recorded music, videos, movies, e.t.c. All by himself on a tablet! The meaning behind “72Hours” is “ If something is not going to matter in 3 days don’t give it no energy.” Qwaylove stated in an interview “but at the end of the day it’s just a name just like any other rapper.” In 2016 Qwaylove whose stage name was “J-Hope” at the time, started buzzing in high school. He begin growing a fan base in his local community. Qwaylove music is catchy, and his unique emotionally flow caught a lot of attention. Qwaylove expresses his feelings in his music and talks about things that many rappers are afraid to talk about. Qwaylove can rap about anything and it sounds good, and therapeutic. In 2018, Qwaylove cut off all his hair & eyebrows for a positive influence and spreading love. Qwaylove has A recent video with EDIT TV called “Long Live Desi” about Desiyunna Hill, who was an 18- year-old girl shot at a party in 2019. The video pays tribute to her life and raises awareness on teen gun violence. We recently sat down with GA artist Qwaylove for an exclusive “Off The Porch” Interview! During our conversation he discussed life in Valdosta, attending college at VSU, studying psychology in school, wanting to spread love, his new project “21”, grind of being an independent artist, and more!
