Puerto Rican duo J-King y Maximan deliver upbeat reggaeton similar to contemporary pairs like <a href="spotify:artist:1wZtkThiXbVNtj6hee6dz9">Wisin & Yandel</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7tU1VKOuxiNZwBZC6RHidA">Alexis & Fido</a>. Following their beginnings as Los Rastrilleros, J-King (born Jaime Borges Bonilla in Ponce, but also raised in Massachusetts and Germany) and Maximan (born Héctor L. Padilla, also in Ponce) joined the group <a href="spotify:artist:26YAHs5On4KQDNsU2cYFdL">Casa de Leones</a> in 2006. After releasing a single album together, the members broke off into respective projects. J-King y Maximan issued their first mixtape in 2008, the eponymous Los Rastrilleros, before releasing their official debut full-length, Los Superheroes, two years later. The album featured the singles "Cuando, Cuando Es?" and "Sr. Juez," as well as "Volvieron los 5," which reunited the members of <a href="spotify:artist:26YAHs5On4KQDNsU2cYFdL">Casa de Leones</a>. Their sophomore effort, Los Sucesores, arrived in 2013, while the return of the dynamic duo landed in 2015 on Volvieron Los Rastrilleros (Preloaded). In 2017, the duo teamed up with <a href="spotify:artist:16lcPccJgIjtOWEwVMyA6Z">Tony Lenta</a> for the single "Contacto." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
