Bay Area artist J. Loree is well into his independent journey, having released several albums and singles. After spending the last few years on the road, he has built a fierce live show and even opened up for Joe Budden, Chris Webby, Wax, Mac Lethal, and Caskey, amongst others. “Let It Go” from the latest album, managed to win him Best Hip-Hop Song in the 2019 Hollywood Songwriting Contest. Recent releases showcase his creative ambition, fusing elements of other genres in his normally hard-hitting lyrical hip-hop. Whether dark or motivational, his catchy hooks are always complemented by elaborate verses with brutally honest details that always manage to hit home.
