Jenny Ann Shields professionally known as J-MA is a rapper, songwriter, producer and singer. She started writing lyrics at the age of 7 and making recordings at the age of 15. Raised on the westside of Chicago, J-Ma merged quickly to the center of Chicago rap scene as a female emcee. Getting recognition for her complex, vocabulary flipping bars. Releasing her first E.P (FIVE AVENUES), in 2002. Followed by her 2008 release of her first L.p (FROM THE STREETS TO THE EXPRESSWAY). J-Ma proved determined to make an impact in hip-hop.
