J Maine

Jermaine Adams, better known as J-Maine is a rap artist who hails from Houston, TX. The ambitious wordsmith attended Westbury High School on the southwest side of Space City and obtained some college from Houston Community College. Growing up J-Maine listened to 2 Pac and Jay-Z, whom he finds inspiration from to-date. If you were to take a browse in J-Maine’s playlist, you will hear other industry influencers such as Rick Ross, J. Cole and Drake who he feels provide a great example of being diverse in the industry. The Houston native pushes through many adversaries and is gunning for the top, thanks to his number one fan and influencer, his daughter.






In 2014, J-Maine and his father, Odell, created a rap and r&b label called, SSMG (South Side Music Group). With the label, J-Maine has been able to open up for some legendary southern heavy hitters such as: Paul Wall, Juvenile, Z-Ro, J. Paul and former Roc-A-Fella artist, South Philly native Beanie Sigel. J-Maine has also graced the stage along with other SSMG artists during one the biggest festivals on the planet, South By South West in Austin, TX. The young dad and go-getter goals are to own his own successful business and record label. It’s safe to say, the world is anticipating who’s the next break-out artist in Screwston and it will be artist, J-Maine.
