J-Path

From the school of the Self-Taught where many masters rise up from, J-Path’s inception into the beat making multiverse has been a cool decade in the making. Phase one: rebellion with music as a tool, where a young J-Path arrived with electrified strings and seriously heavy solos to now, his current day incarnation where sexy samples and synths still wax punk rock in attitude if not in appearance.
Experiments in sound have been akin to personal awakenings, with expressions in each new genre developing in him new capacities and spinning off into projects involving the hip hop underground, the K-Pop overground, music for video projects, short films and plenty in between.

As for the general pushing of the envelope: for someone who grew up in various South American cultures, speaking various languages and collaborating with various demographics, this adaptability to newness has allowed J-Path to bring a personal depth to his music, art, and business. Etched into his sound is the love for deep, soulful, textured landscapes reminding us that creativity is never limited to one category and can always take us on a journey if we so choose it.
