Born In Atlanta, GA, and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, you have Rap Recording Artist J-Willz (Virginia’s Golden Child, Golden Child Willz). Born Jamaal Lee Williams.
The young artist attracted a large base of fans across the DMV Area in the late 2000s by selling his Mixtapes hand to hand. Also working closely with Directors YCImaging & Creative Ryan on his Music & cover videos on YouTube (over 500,000 views).
Traveling & Performing at numerous showcases through the east coast & releasing a number of 6 mix tapes & 2 Albums, most notably, Raw Gold: which exposed Willz knack for catchy wordplay, Melodies & witty verses.
In 2018, Willz moved his family back to Atlanta to build his career in music. Ultimately landing him a position at the legendary Patchwerk Recording Studios through an invite to a session from Family/ Super Producer Trauma Tone. Leading Willz to a new home to record & Landing a spot on the marketing team as a Graphic Designer & eventually Managing the night shift for the studio.
Within this time at the studio, this position allowed Willz to meet & build relationships with power players in the industry such as Zaytoven, Mr. Hanky, Justice League, Gucci Mane, Key Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I, Monica, Missy Elliot & Many More.
